Mr. Cahn has been an attorney for the past forty five years. Shortly after a clerkship at Phillips Nizer in New York City, Mr. Cahn became a founder and name partner in a law firm until 1990 when he withdrew to pursue private equity and venture capital opportunities. During his tenure with the firm his areas of concentration were transactional matters and litigation.
In 1983 Mr. Cahn became a co-founder and board member of Major League Marketing, Inc., which merged into Pinnacle Brands, Inc. collectively the owner of the Major League Baseball, National Football League and National Hockey League sports trading card brands “Score”, “Pinnacle”, and “Donruss” which collectively held one of the largest market shares of the sports trading card business through the trading card mania of the mid to late 1980’s and early 1990’s.
Since the mid 1970’s Mr. Cahn has been an investor in various business investments involved in manufacturing, product marketing, and in the acquisition, development and construction of shopping centers, office buildings and real estate projects. In the mid 1980’s Mr. Cahn and his partners commenced the purchase, development, and/or sale of real estate properties in the resort areas of Colorado, and they currently maintain investments in and manage properties on the East Coast, Denver and Aspen, Colorado.
In the early 1990’s Mr. Cahn formed Cahn and Partners, LLC, a real estate lender and private equity investor in manufacturing and technology companies.

Mr. Cahn has lived in Aspen, Colorado with his wife Elaine since 1985. He was Vice Chairman of the Aspen Community Institute Committee and a former member of the Aspen-Santa Fe Ballet National Council. Previously he had been Associate Chairman of the MetroWest Federation of New Jersey, and a member of the Roseland, New Jersey Board of Education.
